Home Types of Braces
Did you know that more than 4 million adults, teens, and children in the United States wear braces? Not only that, but thanks to advances in orthodontic technology, there are now more options than ever before to give you the smile you’ve always wanted.
During your free initial consultation, Dr. Reynolds will evaluate your teeth and make a treatment recommendation. You can be confident that she will recommend a treatment plan that meets your unique orthodontic needs and budget as well as your preferences and lifestyle.
When people think of braces, this is typically what they think of. Traditional metal braces are made of durable, hypoallergenic stainless steel and elastics. They sit on the front of your teeth and straighten them over time using metal brackets and archwires.
For patients looking for a less prominent alternative to metal braces, clear (ceramic) braces are often preferred. The brackets are made of a clear or tooth-colored material and are mainly used on older teens and adults who may have cosmetic concerns.
Invisalign® clear aligners straighten your teeth without wires or brackets. They are made of a comfortable thermoplastic material that won’t cause mouth abrasions. Virtually invisible, clear aligners are also removable, making eating and cleaning a breeze.
We take pride in giving all of our patients the healthy, beautiful smiles that they deserve – but don’t just take our word for it. Watch and see for yourself as actual Crescent Orthodontics patients talk about how Dr. Reynolds and her staff are changing their lives – and their smiles.
